Sony PlayStation 5 WS-37368-7 Fix (Error Code Guide)

This one is 100% on Sony’s servers. You don’t repair the PS5; you sort out the PSN account with PlayStation.

Do it in this order:

• 1. Confirm it’s really WS-37368-7.
  Try signing in with the problem account on the PS5. Make sure the exact code shown is WS-37368-7.
• 2. Test with a different PSN account.
  Log out, then sign in with another adult PSN account on the same PS5 (friend’s account, spare account, etc.).
  • If the other account signs in fine: only the original account is suspended.
  • If every account fails and you see a different code (like WS-37338-4): that’s a console/IP ban, different situation.
• 3. Check the email tied to the banned account.
  Sony sends the suspension details to the sign-in ID email (the one you use for PSN).
  • Open that inbox on your phone/PC and search for “PlayStation” or “Sony” around the time the error started.
  • The email will say if the ban is temporary or permanent.
  • It may mention chargebacks/unpaid balance, payment issues, ToS violations, or security problems.
• 4. If there’s an unpaid balance or chargeback, clear it.
